Check out the link below. Early last week we drove this road from Eagle to Chicken and now it is washed out. We just made it.

Today we walked around the area and took some pictures. This morning we walked to the village and checked out the Time Bandit's retail store for t-shirts and stuff. We also went to the harbor.
I booked a Halibut charter for tomorrow. You can only keep two a day but the experience will be my meal. Today was clear and in the upper 60's. About 9 pm it started raining and is only forecast to be 57 tomorrow with showers. Such is life. The wind is forecast to lay some. It has been strong SW which they say makes it bumpy. We'll see.
This afternoon we went in the other direction to the tip of the spit where people fish and there is a motel and restaurant. Also what appears to be the home for The Time Bandit is that end beside the Coast Guard port.
The four volcanoes I told you about are called the Pacific Ring of Fire. They are: Mt. Douglas Volcano, Mt. Iliamna Volcano, Mt. Augustine Volcano, and Mt. Redoubt Volcano. Mt. Redoubt and Mt. Iliamna are on the west side of the Kenai Peninsula and Mt Augustine and Douglas are to the southwest. They make a pretty sight setting on the water with their snow covered peaks.
Tomorrow tune in for the Homer fishing report.
