Sparsely populated areas and one mountain pass. Then without warning
the road dumped us in downtown Anchorage. Two U-turns later we were on
our way in the right direction.

When I was a teenager I watched a TV program on the Alcan Highway. Since that time I have had a desire to travel that road to Alaska and enjoy the sights. Last year my wife and I purchased our first Class C motor home. It is a 31 foot Tioga Ranger. This will be the vehicle in which we will complete our trip of a lifetime.
